I am one who is willing to give up and coming authors a try and I hope that others are too. The book started off pretty interesting until it took an implausible turn which shifted the story into more of a comic book fairy tale... "an invisible cloak"! For real! What a stretch into make believe! Very disappointing. If you're looking for a thriller that you can almost believe, this isn't the one. This book is too far fetched. The author exhibits talent but can give us readers more credit than this.
It's a thrilling, suspenseful, breezy read. Wonderful plot & characterization. Massey is a sagacious storyteller. This is a page turner!
